Curtis Sanford, Sami Lepisto head to KHL; Who play

Former Columbus Blue Jackets goalie Curtis Sanford and ex-Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Sami Lepisto are both headed to the KHL,Asics Walking Shoes, signing contracts with Yaroslavl Lokomotiv, the franchise devastated last year by a plane crash that killed the entire team. Sanford signed a one-year deal―a contract that he described to the Columbus Blue Jackets as "not a backup plan." Potential free agents that that project better as secondary options: Jonas Gustavsson, (Toronto Maple Leafs); Josh Harding, (Minnesota Wild); Scott Clemmensen, (Florida Panthers); and Martin Biron, (New York Rangers). Lepisto, 27, also signed a one-year contract. He had a point and two goals in 26 appearances with the Blackhawks last season, averaging more than 10 minutes per game as a bottom-pairing blue liner.
